Our freshly revised plans for November2020
as our area goes into the highest level of lockdown

We are really sorry that we don’t see any way to keep St Michael’s open for tourists while in Tier 3; we are hugely grateful to the Friends’ of the Brontë Church and our own team of Church Tour Guides who had enabled us to do so on many days in September and October while we were in Tier 2.

1. We will still provide a fresh Sunday Worship video each week (with a special one for Remembrance) in partnership with West Lane Baptist Church.

This is accessible from the front page of our churches’ websites by a single click, and the audio of the most recent service is accessible by a normal rate phone call 01535 286387. Our on-line ‘Breathing Space’ and our Brontë Virtual Church blog also continue.

2. We will still provide a Communion Service for small congregations prayerfully and Covid-safely in each church each week; people sit well apart and people leave without socialising with others.

Sundays 3.30 pm St Gabriel’s, Stanbury
Wednesdays 10.30 am St James’, Cross Roads
Fridays 12.30 pm St Michael’s, Haworth

3. We will still provide a Sunday morning service at either St James’ or St Michael’s, Covid-safely and with at least some music; people sit well apart and people leave without socialising with others.

25 Oct 9.30 am St James’ Communion
1 Nov 11.00 am St Michael’s All Age Worship (All Hallows)
8 Nov 10.45 am St Michael’s Communion (with two minutes silence at 11.00 am); no civic or War Memorial services
15 Nov 9.30 am St James’ Morning Worship
22 Nov 11.00 am St Michael’s Communion
29 Nov 9.30 am St James’ All Age Worship (Advent Sunday)

4. We will still hold our annual meetings for both parishes very briefly after one of our services; people sit well apart and leave without socialising with others. Papers will be available in advance for all who request them even if they will not attend – any comments will be reported to what we expect will be small number attending the half-hour meetings.
