We are able to hold a few services provided people wear masks, sit well apart (we have available seats marked out), and don’t hang around to chat or socialise afterwards. But we don’t plan to have a Carol Service (we can’t sing in church at the moment), mid-week Communion on 23 December (there is a funeral in church that morning), or our usual services at Christmas ‘midnight’ or on Christmas morning (we are meant to leave the building unused for a period between services).
Self directed for those with a smartphone
Not quite a Carol Service is being provided by eight posters, each with a bit of the Christmas story and a QR code link to a carol, which appear between the new Post Office on Halifax Road and the front door of Lees Methodist Church (the stopping places on the way are Steptoe Ted, Freedom Hair Design, The Kitchen, Wilds, St James’ front door, and G Moore). Visit all or just one!
We still provide a fresh Sunday Worship video each week
