Luke’s Gospel tells us that the risen Lord walked the road to Emmaus with some disciples on the evening of the first Easter Sunday. He is shown doing so on the pulpit in our sister church of St Michael’s, Haworth.
The Revd Peter Mullins invites us all to explore the impact of this walk on the way we worship every Sunday; it is his first real opportunity to explore faith alongside members of our three congregations in small groups, and he hopes that a good number will want engage in this.
We will meet for five Wednesdays beginning on 25th October (and finishing on 22nd November) in the morning at St James’, Cross Roads (10.15-11.45 a.m., following the weekly 9.30 Wednesday Communion) repeated in the evening at St Michael’s, Haworth (7.30-9.00 p.m.).
Do come morning or evening, whichever suits you best. Do come to a few of the sessions even if you can’t come to them all.
